Looking at purchasing a '99 Intrigue with L/R slide, galley is on the street side. 40K miles, professionally maintained - sharp coach. Any feedback? Good move, bad move, things to look out for, particular questions to ask pertaining to this particular year? Thanks in advance!

Dont know if you might be interested but my 99 Magna galley slide is for sale. This is our third CC and by far the best we have owned. The coach is in absolute mint condition with 23M miles. If interested contact me at melnconyw@... or phone 401/647-2787 (RI)

We have a 1998 Intrigue Grandview (the big slide), but it is really a 1999. Model year timing. It is our 5th motorhome and we love it. We have had it since December and have not put many miles on it yet, but it drives so much better than our gas coaches and the room is great. We travel with 3 big dogs an I swear this motorhome is bigger than our first appartment.

We have a 99 Intrigue, Cooks Delight slide and love it. This is our fifth motorhome and ninth RV. We travel about 10 months out of the year and always feel at home in it. We frequently travel the back roads and have not incurred any problems other than not being able to get into some older parks. Problems have been minimal and the factory has been very good at taking care of them. Air leaks in the leveling system were the biggest problem in the beginning.
We have had three recalls on our coach, first for front tires, next for front brake shoes, and then the leveling valves were changed. I would ask if these have been done.
We have done a number of small things that have made the coach even easier to use, such as a new cook top and slides in every bay.
If you buy a CC, you will enjoy the coach but even more so, the great people that you will meet that also own one.

Thanks for the information - I'll check it out. This will be our first coach, sort of skipping the 'stepping stones' if you will and getting right to what we really want to be in!

Point of information......

It sure makes a difference with the new IFS front end....
I'm sure it does, but it is all relative. Our Intrigue does not have the IFS front end and it still drives better than anything else we have ever owned. So, I would not let the lack of IFS scare anyone away from the Intrigue.

My last MH was a 36 ft. '99 Intrigue and the only major thing I did not like about it was the furnace. It was so loud that I couldn't watch TV without constantly turning the volume up and down. CC said there was no way to install a different furnace. On my unit the furnace was under the fridge. I don't know if all of them are installed there. Hope this helps. Jerry
