Alarm System "overide" button, 2003 Allure)

Anyone know where this button is. We've located a switch down by the gas pedal (or is that diesel pedal?), which is labled "normal", "door only" and "off." But the switch only settles in two positions, not the off postion. The alarm book talks about an overide button, but we have not been able to locate it. We've only had the coach about two weeks so we are still getting familiar with all the gadgets. The overide buttom seems like a good thing to be familiar with if you lose the remote and only have a key to get in the door. Thanks

It looks like your question has not been answered yet. I have been on the road, so sorry to the delay in answering.

The override button is located behind the panel in the dash. The panel is the one over the steps near the co-pilot seat. I found my over ride button laying on the floor inside that comparment.

I'm not sure I have the panel you're talking about because there is an aftermarket cabinet there, which is right in front of the passenger seat. I did find the fuse which is a 7.5 amp located in the battery bay. This bay is not wired to the alarm, so if I had to, I could disable the alarm there if I lost the keyless remote.

If you had wireless internet, you could keep in touch on the road.
We have been using T-Mobile for almost a year now and love it! It's only $30 per month for unlimited internet access and is about as fast as a 56kps landline (although my wife swears its faster). It even works moving down the road while the wife is driving. We use the Aircard that slides into the laptop which is faster than through typical cell phone connection. Coverage is great along interstates and in cities. Can't beat it for the price.

Hey I noticed that your coach is only two behind mine which is #30856. By the way, do you have the Hurricane heater? Thanks again.

Yes, I have the hurricane. I had problems in the past, but with the help of IRT, it has been problem free for the last year.

You have a great coach, so I hope you are enjoying it. By the way, check your slide molding and see if you have any electrolysis. It will show up as little bubbles. If you have this situation, call Country Coach about it and have it fixed.

Yes I do have the electrolysis you are refering to. I need to contact CC about that. I initially had problems with the Hurricane, but IRT stepped up and helped out alot. I am now having problems with occasional flame outs and it shows a code 7. This might be because of air in the fuel line. Still troubleshooting and may need to call IRT. Thanks again.
