Ree - I know you've had a tire repaired/replaced there, but what would you do if your CC breaks down in Mexico? Are there reasonably close tow services that can handle it? Repair shops? An RV dealer who can repair/replace appliances? Inquiring minds want to know .

There is an RV repair shop run by an American. From what I understand, he does good work at a fair price. Of course, for major stuff I would want to head back to the states. When my previous coach had a major failure, the local guy worked on it and diagnosed the problem, but could not fix it. A couple of guys from Mexicali came down to fix it. Took them 3 trips but they got it done. If towing was necessary, I would do all possible to get a truck down to haul it on. I would hate the thought of towing it 120 miles over very narrow roads.

When I had a flat tire last year, a local guy came out and removed the tire, took it to his shop, repaired it, and brought it back and put it on---charge was $25.00.
