Hello fellow cc'ers. Spend most of my time on camping world forums, and then I found this forum. Lots of good info here also. Here are pics of our rig if anyone wants to take a peak http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrowse.asp?folder_id=1149266 My wife found fabric that we both liked and we had the window boxes redone. The fabric also had bed spread, towels, bath stuff, all matching. It was a job to remove and replace all the window boxes but worth it. I also removed one couch and replaced with black leather chair. I do all my own maint. on this rig. Have replace every fluid that can be changed, plus all the other stuff. gillig chassis, 8.3 300 cummins. Did not like the way it steered, even with a steer-safe previous owner put on. Weighed all 4 and adjusted tire pressure, completely checked steering and front end. It has a ross box, and after properly adjusting it, HUGH difference, cost $0.
Everything works perfect on this 1996 36' intrigue. It has 72,000 and looks and drives like a new one. These are well built MH's.

Hey newbie;

I've got a 95 Magna and it looks like the same color and pattern on the outside.
Since your a maintenance man, next time your under the engine check the transmission oil cooler in the radiator lower return line. I had ours replaced this year. Started to leak.
Being on the bottom it had corroded to a point where the hoses/ hose clamps wouldn't prevent it. If the cooler and adjoining pipes are rusty, I'd clean them and paint them. The damn cooler was in excess of a $1000. Plus all the associated cost. New hoses, 14 gallons of coolant, etc.
Same engine as yours.

Welcome aboard, ccintrigue. You'll find this to be a very educational group, even if we don't always agree with each other.

Thanks. We used 3M velcro from walmart to hang pics.

I did check that while I was changing fiters and fluid on allison.
Steam cleaned and spent hours under there checking everything.
Changed out 2 relays in engine compartment that can prevent engine from starting if they go bad. Did all the belts and hoses on cummins and power tec gen.

Yes ... nice coach! As for hanging pictures ... we've hung a few decorative pictures in our coach using a nail at the top to support vertical weight and picture hanging "putty" at various places around the frame to stabilize.
Works well.

However, we'd also like to mount a picture frame that displays around half a dozen photos of grandkids, etc, and would like to be able to replace 'em from the front, rather than removing the frame each time. Any ideas?

Dick and Geri,
I fastened a glass covered picture on the wall between the living room and dinette windows. It's a fairly large 16 x 20 picture and fairly heavy. I used a single screw on the factory prepared hanger and used four "L" type screws to support the weight. Place two of the "L" screws on the sides near the top & two on the bottom. By just turning the "L" screws on the sides near the top, I can lift the picture frame off the wall. By placing the frame back on the center screw and onto the bottom "L" screws, then turning the top "L" screws back into position, the frame is back on the wall. Ours has been on the wall for 2+ years and about 15,000 miles, so it does work. Good luck,
