Gone Fishing...good restaurant in Florence

Had dinner at this restaurant with a friend last night and both of us were impressed with the quality of the food.

1136 Hwy 101 Florence 541-997-1280 Open Tues - Sat 11:30 to 8:00

I had 1/2 pound peel and eat shrimp with french fries...REAL french fries, not McDonalds....a good cole slaw made with vineger and oil rather than mayonaise and garlic bread. The garlic butter for the shrimp was a little butter with the garlic! Loved it.

So, if you are in Junction City for work on your coach, this is an good place to eat. The ambiance is interesting...an old gas station. It was cold last night and the heater almost kept us warm.
LOL They do have take out. If you decide to eat the fish and chips, eat them fresh there in the restaurant as my friend said the batter got a little chewy when it got cold.

We enjoyed eating there last summer. Hope to build on our lot this year up the coast at Yachats if the EPA will allow new building permits. How is the weather this winter? Arizona has been wet for a change, should be back up in Oregon by May. John 2002 Allure

Since I got up here it has been raining and cold. Hail the past three days and it just hailed again a few minutes ago. Supposed to clear up for a while on Tuesday. My friend who lives in Florence says it was beautiful till I got here. > Weather was perfect for sitting in the living room watching four football games. At least two of our teams won...Vikings and Colts! Now hope to see the Vikes beat the Eagles!
