Carbon monoxide leak

Just got off the phone with the former owner of a 1995 CC Intrigue with 100K miles that we were thinking about buying from the dealer he traded it in to -- at least until we learned the coach had a bad CO leak that 3 trips to the factory couldn't fix. We've been looking exclusively for a Intrigues of this vintage, but are now wondering if CO leaks are a common problem. Anyone out there have similar problems? And if so, were you able to fix it?

Hi Bill,

A CO leak is dangerous - I would like to know where it was coming from? Possibilities are the stove burners, refrigerator, hot water heater, engine exhaust and hydro heat or what? Fred Kovol

How does a diesel have a CO leak? That is most common on a gas motor.
Anyway I have a 95 Intrigue with 130,000 on it and no problem of the fuel burning smell or sensor going off. I would like to know more about this problem though.
