What I like about Country Coach

Went to Lazy Days and looked at a lot of RVs, just for grins. One thing we noticed is that unlike most RVs we saw, the CC is built like a tank....solid! Plus we have enjoyed great factory service, even as a third owners! Go CC!

Larry, I think a lot of us share your opinion of CC. I'm on my third one, even though I wasn't too thrilled with the second, and every time I look at another brand I find shortcomings. CC isn't perfect, but they beat anything coming in second by a long shot.

We too are on our 3rd CC. The main decision maker as far as "brand" choice is concerned may be slightly different than others.

There is absolutely no other MH maker that is so considerate about egress/ingress - the CC entry is much more acessible for people with bad knees/hips than any other that we have ever looked at and that includes all the "known" mfg. - the steps are wide and tread ht. is short - most are more like a ladder than steps.

Makes a huge difference for us "old folks".

This is our first Country Coach and we chose it not only because it had the only floor plan we liked but we met lots of CC owners who were repeat buyers. This says a lot for a product. Our prior RV was an Alpenlite fifth wheel that also has a lot of repeat buyers.
Since buying the coach, we've discovered that the CC support team is great.

Re: [Country-Coach-Owners] What I like about Country Coach We made a BIG MISTAKE......we bought a CC.

We have an oldie (1989 32ft CC, gas Ford 460, Gillig chassis). Our first RV. bought it in 1999. Had various minor mechanical and electrical problems. Recently replaced both rooftop AC units. Had alternator rebuilt. Also new engine oil pump installed ( a story all of its own.) Still a few electrical gremlins pop up from time to time. What the heck, its 16 years old. So I'm not complaining. As a matter of fact, reading postings on this group, I feel darn good. We don't have all the automated systems and problems that are discussed. At times, the posted problems and solutions makes me reluctant to consider moving up to a newer model. but that day is coming. Not sure when.

Everyone who has entered our coach can't believe it is as old as it is.

So what was our MISTAKE in buying a CC? All the newer models (other manufacturers) lack the quality of workmanship in our 89. The cabinetry and joinery are slipshod. Cheap materials are used. They just don't feel right. Nothing we have seen, within our price range, compares with our CC. So when trade time comes it is 95% certain it will be another CC.

The only misgivings are the problems I seen posted. But problems exist no matter what manufacturer.

Oh yeah, we have a few squeaks and rattles going down the road. As i get older I seem to be getting a few squeaks also. Maybe it is just the sound of boat shoes on the wood floor.

A "BIG MISTAKE" .... Dave you had us going for a while there. We have had two other mfg.'s machines and finally "discovered" the Country Coach difference...Yep our machine is built like a tank. Having been a cabinet maker in another life..let me tell you, CC does do a very good job on the interior. Compared to other machines we inspected, we are very happy with ther details.

Hi-

My name is Karen Oliver! I am new to the RV life and am trying to do as much research as possible.
I live in Commerce, MI.

We just went to the Novi Expo show last week, where I fell in LOVE with the CC!! I am also looking at the Monaco Dynasty.
Looking forward to learning about the CC. Glad to hear that there is great support out their for these MH's.
I also love to hear about the repeat buyers!! That says a lot about a product! I have noticed that there are not a lot of dealers, in the MI area that carry CC. I only know of Holland Motors.
Is there anyone in the Michigan area that has a CC? If so, where do you get it serviced?
When I am not researching RV's., we are showing our Champion PugsSmiley emoticon
Thanks for having me.

Karen;

We live outside of Columbus, Ohio. Not to many dealers in our area. There is one in Richmond, Indiana and one near Greensburg, Pa. (eastside of Pittsburg).
We have used Custom Coach on the eastside of Columbus, off I70. They have a good relationship with CC. I also do a lot of my own maintenance. Lots of fun.

My wife shows Chinese Crested. Now up to 24 champions.
