Electrolysis issue

Yahoo Message Number: 15182
Country Coach has been using Dave Scheffler to do this work.
If you know him, You know that he was the old schedualer for CCI.
He had zero expreience doing this kind of work, He was fired from CCI two times for different reasons. Now he's working on electrolysis repairs for the shop. Since the new management took over in the shop things got bad. The only two people who knew how to do an electrolysis job don't even work there any more. You know REESE and ROBERT. They went into business for them selves. These two realy know there stuff. They invented and perfected the process.
Who do you want to do your work. If you recently had an electrolysis job done check your drip pans. "they may leak".

Just curious... would you happen to be "Robert" of the "Reese and Robert" who were "released" from their positions at CC?

I suggest you be a little more forthcoming about your interest in this situation before you start badmouthing Country Coach's "new management" in the shop who is doing an outstanding job, as well as current employees.

Maybe you should explain the circumstances for your leaving Country Coach before you mislead the other coach owners on this website.

This was pretty low down and dirty.

We owner's would appreciate it if you would not come back on this website with disparaging, misleading and self-interested comments such as these.

If you cannot earn the honest respect and references of customers by your own good business practices, you do not deserve to be in business.

"Pyro": Thanks for the info. I recently called CCI tech support (Ryan)regarding the Electrolysis taking place on our 2000 Allure entry door. The existing skin needs to be removed and a replacement skin applied, then painted, a 2 day job. They have sent me the replacement skin (FREE) as customer service gesture. For the repair they suggested I call: 1) CCI Service Dept and 2) Brashere's Restorations in Eugene. for est. of repair costs.
I spoke with "Andy" at Brashere's (541)688-5422) who said he used to be the Paint Dept Supervisor at CCI. Initially he said he would do the job for $1500, then after discussing, agreed to $1050.
Do you or anyone on this forum have any experience with Brashere's? Do you have the bus.name and Phone # where Reese and Robert work? Any / all comments are appreciated.

Pyro's name does not appear among this forum's members list.
I assumed he was an owner, therefore, a forum member.
Has anyone had anything done at Brashere's? Thanks for the heads-up.

No problem... I was wondering if you read my post. We owners have to watch out for one another. That was really misleading. You have to be careful who you listen to on this website because sometimes they misrepresent themselves just like hustlers do in "chat rooms." The rule is "caveat emptor." Sometimes they have ulterior motives. I get really suspicious when someone comes on "trashing" people at CC like that. Be careful to check your source of information... a good rule for all owners is to verify information they get with at least two other reputable sources before taking it as "fact."

I have heard good things about Brashers, but never had work done there. This has been a difficult issue and from what I have heard from different owners around the country, many many paint shops have had problems with this even if they have good reputations. It is a conundrum. Some people have recommended a couple of paint shops- one in CA called "The Paint shop" I believe, and another one in Florida- don't know the name. I never had any experience with any of them. I would follow Country Coach's recommendations. They know who can do it if you are not having it done there.

Good luck getting this done. You have my sympathy. Being in a vulnerable position like this makes owners prey to "vultures"- so do your research and check your sources of information.

Don,

When CC fixed this problem for me, they sent the coach over to Guaranty RV Body shop. CC provided them the new door skin and Guaranty Body shop did the tear down and reinstall. They also painted the new skin, did a good job in my opinion. They even fixed the dead bolt so that it locked properly which was a bonus.
Not sure what Guaranty charges for labor since CC fixed this one for me under "Goodwill." The problem showed up on my coach duringthe first year, Lazy Days had attempted to fix it by buffing out bubble and spot painting the area. When the bubble started to reappear I took the issue to CC and they came through as expected.

Yes, Reese and Robert are in the process of a start up company called Valley Mobil Tech.
They are doing onsite repair to coaches.
Since they are both factory trained in coach and bus conversions they are doing a bangup job.
They are also attempting to recruit other top tech's from Country Coach.
They figure it would be easier for the customers if they go to them.
Their number is 541-221-1780 For now they are only going to be in Oregon. They are willing to go all over though.
Hope this helps,

I will ask again since you seem to be avoiding the question... ARE YOU THE "ROBERT" OR "REESE" that "left" Country Coach TRYING TO START UP THIS COMPANY you keep referring to in the third person???

Coming on the Owner's website using different names and emails, making deceptive, deceitful disparaging comments about CC management and technicians to get business is not going to fly here. We are not that stupid.

Try again... Maybe you guys should apply for a job at Monaco...

Someone with your judgement and character references from these posts will NOT work on a coach of MINE!

Shame on you.

Well, Bob, good luck with your new group, I hope you find people who are interested. The idea of having a group is to help each other when we are having issues with our coaches. To obtain that help you need people who have been coach owners, new owners with expertise in some area or another, and others who help with ideas and trouble shooting. Fred Kovol, for example, is a tremendous help to many, many owners in areas of electical, batteries, schematics on finding things in our manuals and trouble shooting for people who can't find the answers. This site is for "Country Coach Owners" and it is so stated on the home page of the group site. Many times when new owners sign on, they introduce themselves, say a little about the fact they are new to the forum etc and several people on the forum write and welcome them. Maybe you do not need the help of the group of seasoned owners like Fred, but we certainly would not leave this group and join another....where would you get information??? Anyway, I do not think any of us are "picking " on you...we are just having a hard time understanding your logic. As far as we are concerned we still do not understand where you are coming from or why. So please forgive us if you think we have treated you badly and again, good luck in your new group.

Bob,

I've belonged to this group for several years and nobody normally harps on anyone. Most people on the group are very helpful with advice.

Since many of us travel and don't have a ton of time on the computer, belonging to one group for Country Coach is a plus. At least it is for me. I have one place to go if I have a question. I don't write to the board much, but I always get excellent advice from people with experience.

Sometimes with emails things get out of hand. I don't want you to think this list is like that on an ongoing basis, because it is not.

No need to address or apologize "Bob" He is a fake... please see my recent post under "I don't know who Pyro is"
This was an alias for a former tech who was trying to deceive owners to get business since he is no longer with CC.
