Fuel Gauge Problem

Talk with the Techs at CC, but if you have the problem I did with the gauge staying all the way to the right when the key is turned on, you may have to replace the sending unit. I got several different answers from different Techs before finally getting the right answer. Disconnect the sending wire from the tank and use a meter to see if it is actually sending when the key is turned on (mine wasn't). The hole in the frame that I had to reach my arms through was only about 3 1/4" wide, so it was very hard to get the screws out and back in. I did put a new sending unit in without dropping the tank. It will be a lot easier if it is the fuel gauge.
