One Post---2 Questions

Yahoo Message Number: 15810
Awhile back someone posted a question about a source for replacement screen doors for CC. I didn't see any replies and now I am in need of one myself. Any Help to point me in the right direction?

This has been discussed in the past but, if I can't resolve this problem I'm going to have to buy another coach---my Wife say.
The wind noise at the entry door is driving us both nuts. CC tech at Homecoming stuffed a bunch more rubber strips in the door area and the only thing that accomplished was to force the door out into the air stream a bit farther. The airplane industry has used latches on the top of doors for 50 year, has this idea been done on a coach ? Any other Ideas old or new?

Thanks, Larry

When we bought our Intrigue, the previous owner told us about wind noise and told us to fix it we should put pipe insulation around the front awning arm. We sport a section of grey pipe insulation held in place with velcro wraps when ever we travel. It works.

Larry,

We had a '97 Intrigue with terrible wind noise at the door. At the suggestion of some on this board in '03, we started looking at the closing arm at the top of the door. On ours it stuck out preventing the door from closing properly. We took it off and ground it down on the end so the door would close tighter a the top. First we tried new seals but that only helped a little.

Now on our '99 Magna had a different set up. We replaced the hinge and that made it better. You can tell if the hinge is worn, the door will move up and down with little effort.
So check the arm and the hinge.
Hope this helps.
