Does anybody have a suggestion of where to look for a lost backup camera image? Both side cameras work and the rear camera worked until traveling on a moderately rough road when the rear image went blank.
It would almost seem that a plug became disconnected.

There is a known CC service bulletin on the 04 CC's, a ground wire
issue. I have had mine "fixed" three times and it still goes blank on
rough roads. Works fine when cold at startup.

My 04 Intrigue had the same problem. It was a poor connection under the dash right at the monitor. Suggest you turn the monitor on and play around with the wires at that location. You may be able to identify the culprit. CC has used some really poor connectors in more than one location.

Lyle, Dick, Alan,
You might start checking for broken in-line fuse housings. Had the same problem you are having; found the culprit under the dash passenger side, clear down on the floor. It was an in-line 3 amp. When I replace the fuse holder, everything worked great. Good luck! Stan, 2002 Intrigue #11471, 2002 Malibu toad. Also want to thank those who responded to our request for information about Denver, Branson, New Orleans. Appreciate everyone's input!!!

We had the same problem with our 2004 Intrigue. It was diagnosed as the ground wire as described in the bulletin and repaired by a CC tech at Beaudry. That was two months ago and so far it has not failed again. It sounds like we're lucky.

Stan,

I had the exact same problem with mine. The fuse holder was cracked and the backup camera went out. They fixed it in Moultrie.

I posted a problem a couple of days ago with a failed backup camera on a 2005 Affinity. John Goss emailed me the solution. Remove the main dash panel and reseat all connections on the Mito control box and a separate box located directly above the Mito. He has had the same problem with the rear cable becoming slightly loose, making the rear image fail.

Thanks for the other posts also.

My backup camera will not stay on. I press the camera button by the drivers seat and it will come on for a second and then go off. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem.

Another problem I had yesterday was my backup camera does not work. The green on button does not come on when the power button is pushed. I looked through the schematics it says wire 45 controls the backup lights, backup alarm and backup camera. The backup lights work, but the camera and alarm in inop. Any ideas? Tom
