Will OEM house pump controller handle 12 amp Flo-Jet VSD pump?

Hello

Was just wondering if anyone knows whether the CC factory installed pump controller on a 2003 Allure can handle the 12 amp demand from a Flo-Jet Sensor VSD pump. According to the data-plate on my original CC pump, it only pulls 7 amps max. Flo-Jet instructions says I need a pump controller that can handle up to 12 amps. Maybe the factory installed controller can handle 12 amps. If not, I'll have to buy a $35 controller if I want to use the VSD. If I had all the wiring diagrams, I'd look it up. Thanks for any help here.
