RV parking/camping in las Vegas

We have never been to Vegas, so are headed down there from St. George to see the sights. Any recommendations for camping/ parking/ in or near Vegas? I read of a parking lot on Duke Ellington off of Tropicana Blvd. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We personally like the Silverton - Nice RV Park and they have just finished an expansion of the hotel/casino. The Rocky Mountain Country Coach group is having a rally there next month.

We travelled to Vegas a couple of years ago and I don't know if you have a dog on board as well as Toby but we could not find a single park in Vegas that will accept a dog over 25lbs. Having an 85lb Golden Retriever banished us to Boulder City. Good to know ahead of time if you have a dog over 25lbs.

We traveled through Las Vegas twice in the last year (with our two goldens) and found no dog restrictions at Outdoor Resorts. We nosed around at a few other parks and saw some large dogs there too.

We are partial to the Outdoor Resorts and have stayed there many times. Not to far from the strip.

Circus Circus is nice Old but nice not very expensive.
If you happen to be a Thousand Trails Member they have a park not to far from the strip best if you have a pod. Not to hot at night right now at night, but during the day you may wana stay inside (A Casino).

Good luck Adam
