Realize this is a tad bit of an old thread, but it was the one that seemed close to our problem. While I'll keep searching/surfing, thought I'd ask if those with the same basic front door config as our 04 Allure, may have found the fix for this??
So far, I had about three-four hours of good techs at Holland Motorhomes in San Diego, try to solve this. Some things are better, but still get the 'whistle' wind sound, when the wind hits at the right angle. Guys, so loud that you might as well turn off the stereo. So loud, my Bounder V10 was sometimes quieter then the allure...

Post work review with Holland:
Last bit of info, and some speculation on my part:
>The rig was/is in good shape when we bought it >However the door frame, and how it is seated into the coach walls, was not right. Top latch side had about 1/16 of seal between coach wall and door frame. Trending down next to no gap with seal towards the bottom of the coach.
The top and bottom of the door frame, where they were attached to the side door frames (not doors, but like the door jambs on a pre-hung door), looked to have been worked on. (Lack of paint, like they had been popped loose and re-attached (not sure if it metal, and welded - or alluminum an brazed) >The tech, and Service Manger, and I - all speculated that the door jamb had been out of the coach, and worked on, then put back in. As Holland sold this coach new, and they have no records of doing this. Suspect it was done pre-delivery. Perhaps as a quality control correction item at Country Coach? >I also speculate, that though the weather/sound stripping appears in full contact with the door while not moving. That at speed, and with the right wind variance, a sort of vacum might pull the top part of the dooor away from the weather/sound stripping enough to cause the wind whistle sound.
Full disclosure of other variables:
So what, lots of writing, a very long post (some probably not real clear!), what do I want:
The sound is so loud with the whistle, that I would take at trip to anyplace that could work magic on making it go away. This is our long term coach, and I'd like to get this resolved for over the next 20 years of usage...
(Note: The two 20-30 min test drives, were in the early AM without any winds to detect the 'whistle'. Noted the wind sound some, but assumed this was a weather/stripping door adjustment only item.
Gang, for those of ou that read all of this. Thank You...
And a donation to your favorite charity, other then DC, to anyone that can point me in the right direction:)!
Best,
Smitty
