Sewer Odor while traveling?

We have an 06 Inspire that whenever we use the toilet while riding causes a lot of odor when we flush.
We don't have this problem while sitting.
I'm using the same treatment I used in my last coach and it never had an odor while traveling.

Do I have some kind of vent problem??? Thanks for your imput.

I believe that the cause of this odor is caused by the difference in air pressure between the inside of the coach and the outside.
As you drive down the road, I believe that there is a very slight "low-pressure" area which is naturally created inside the coach. Therefore, as you open the coach to the "outside" via opening the toilet drain, the pressures try to equalize and air is forced back into the coach via your black holding tank and holding tank vent pipe. We have an open vent in our kitchen ceiling and this seems to help quite a bit.
I could be wrong on this, but that is what I have been told about vehicle traveling at high speeds down the highways.

I had odor problems in mine too, whenever we would cruise with any of the windows. I replaced those crummy little vent caps with those caps that create a slight negative pressure in the tanks while you are driving. That solved 99% of the problem. I don't know what you have, but you might check them out.

I agree. We had two put on the coach at last years reunion. They rotate 360 degrees and any wind that hits the fins sets the vent in the right direction. As the air passes through the unit it creates a venturi effect which effectively pulls the air out of the black and gray tanks so no odor can accumulate.

 In my opinion CC should install them on all their units.

On my 98 Allure I quit using the blue or green stuff, and started using ECO-Save supplied with the coach. The only trick was to use venturi vents and two put about 10 gals in the black water tank to cover the solid waste and two give the ECO-Save water to work with. Now that I have a head hunter toliet, I only use the Echo save to digest the solids. But I have found it was very necessary to treat the grey water on both coaches while you are traveling. Odors can come up through the p-traps that have drained due to the rocking and vertical travel of the coach on roads with cracks in the pavement. Just love I-10 thru LA. TWI 2004 Allure 11731
