No Oil Changes?

Does anyone out there have any experience with Bypass Filtration Systems? They are supposed to eliminate the time between oil changes. They are made by a company called Amsoil. My brother-in- law is using this system on his diesel engine and has gone 150,000 miles without an oil change. He takes an oil sample once a year when he changes filters. Any experience with this?
