Service for my Country Coach

Yahoo Message Number: 17377
My wife and I have not been thrilled, to say the least about the service we have received at the Holland Motorhomes in San Diego. I was wondering if there were any other recommendations within a reasonable distance to obtain factory authorized service. Our coach was purchased in April so we would like to stay within the guidelines of the warranty.

We are in North San Diego Country on the coast so going north into the Orange county area might be doable if there is something there.

Thanks for your help!

Kary,

The data base link on this group site has a listing of a place near you, I have never been there but it shows Mike Edismore RV in El Cajon, their phone number is listed. You might want to call them and see if they can handle your issues. If you ever get to Tucson, Jack's RV has a good reputation working on CC units and they are a CC certified service facility.

I purchased a 05 Inspire from McMahon's RV in Irvine (about 50 north of you) about six months ago. I'm not thrilled with the service at there either. I'm also looking for somewhere for quality service.
Also, I'm having problems with the transmission over-heating. Are you experiencing a similar problem?

You should try Mike Eidsmoe's in El Cajon, or I've heard some good things about the new "Coach Care" service at the El Cajon Cummins place...the Coach Care is in a different place from their regular "Cummins Engine Service" so make sure you ask directions. I have also heard good things about McMahons, too, but haven't used them. We used Eidsmoe's as an alternative to Holland and were happy with them, except for the fact that they offer no 'overnight' area...the Coach Care place will have hookups, etc.
Good luck.

We live in Murrieta and are looking at buying an Inspire from either McMahons or Holland so we are concerned about their service. I have heard only very good things about Temecula RV in Temecula on the 15 north of San Diego. I have known numerous folks who will only service their units there and have for a long time. They are an authorized service center for CC, Newmar, Fleetwood, Monaco, Foretravel, American and I'm sure just about all the others. They are only a service center so they need to keep their customers happy. We talked to Eric there and he was extremely helpful. Hope this helps.

Good Luck,
Kathy
