Slide creeping out/really creeping in!

I am sorry, I guess I am dyslexic...I wrote that email and meant the slide was creeping in while parked. Maybe it was just a senior moment! Candace Hollick

Only two things can make the slide move, since it is actuated by a double acting hydraulic cyl. Either you have a leak someplace, or a valve is leaking.

A leak should be obvious ... some folks here can testify to that.

A leaking valve is more subtle ... the fluid leaks past the valve into the tank. This has happened to me, except the slide creeped out.

If a small piece of stuff is preventing the the valve from seating properly, moving the slide in and out might flush things out. A Lazy Days tech told me this. Seems like a long shot to me.

Make sure all the bypass screws are fully tight on each valve.

I have decided to carry a spare valve with me, if I can get one easily. Takes about five minutes to change (a little messy).
