Ratings listed on Motor Homes

I had an interesting call from the Country Coach office last week. They were following up on some missing information in their files and asked me to call them back with the information when I found it on the coach.
Here is the odd part: My coach will be seven (7) years old in a couple of months. It is a 1999 Intrigue that I purchased in November of 1998.
The information they are asking for is the GVWR ratings and tire pressure ratings found on a tag on the shift console.
What do you suppose they need this information for after all this time and why they wouldn't have it as a critical part of building it at the time?
I'm just curious. Does anybody have any idea why they need this info?

Larry,

Tire and coach manufacturers have changed their recommendations on tire pressures--Les Schwab had a discussion on this at Moultrie. They want to make sure your placarded tire pressures are within new guidelines.
