Cleaning windows that have the optional sunscreen

Hi Linda & Don, I'm not familiar with the sun screen but if it is a clear plastic you can buy Lexus plastic cleaner in your hardware store. This doesn't scratch and doesn't have the effect that amonia has on plastic.

Thanks John, my note wasn't really clear. It is that bronze treatment they put into the glass on the windows to make them sunscreen type glass. Owners manual says to be careful not to scratch the windows. So I'm not sure what to use. I did get a good email on using a non amonia type window cleaner. Just looking for what others might be using.

You might also try to get a microfiber cloth (sold everywhere)...we found that with ONLY WATER it cleaned the windows/windshield perfectly. My husband also used the microfiber cloth with only water to clean the whole coach and my filthy dirty Jeep! One cloth, one bucket of water, and one sponge...that was IT! Use the sponge to do a once over with the water, then follow it up with the microfiber.
We're using microfiber cloths for everything now....even got the towels for the bath which are wonderful (feel weird but dry in a flash.)
