More parts falling off ...

Yahoo Message Number: 18219
I posted awhile back about most of my window clips falling off.

Apparantly they don't quite understand adhesive technology at CC.

Now the front 'bezel' on the front of our Affiniy is falling off.
This is the stainless rectangular trim piece that is held in place by eight studs.

Six of the eight studs pulled loose from the trim piece. I guess the way they 'glued' the part in place did not cut it.

Has anyone been thru this ???

I will fix it myself if I can figure out what adhesive to use.

Any advice will be appreciated, but based upon my last question in this area, I think I got the only Affinity assembled by "adhesive challenged" people.

Thanks in advance ...

Try calling 3-M tech line, adhesives division. 1-877-666-2277 or 651- 737-6501. They were a big help when a very large rock attacked my motorhome bumper and I needed to glue it back together. Worked perfect! Good luck.

Go to a Marine service center or sales facility purchase marine caulk. Careful you may never get the part off.

3M 5200 is great stuff. 3M calls it a sealant but it is an excellent "glue" also. Make sure you don't ever want to remove what you glue down with it as it almost impossible to break it loose. They do make a a solvent to help loosen it up.
