Snack tray

Yahoo Message Number: 18322
We just purchased a new Allure at the Homecoming and immediately noticed that one of my favorite items was missing, the pivoting snack tray. Since there is always a bowl of some kind of fruit on the tray of our 99 Intrigue while I'm driving, I need some help from the group on alternatives that anyone has come up with. Thanx.

Hi John & Merilee,

We were at the Class Reunion and know that we will also miss the snack tray.

Our initial thoughts are to have Davis or some other vendor build a special purpose table to go between the driver and passenger seats when we are driving.

I haven't fully thought through the design yet but basically it would be the height of a coffee table and have fold down extensions which would open up when used as a regular coffee table when parked.

It will be on casters but I need to decide how to stop it from moving once we are underway.

Somehow it will include a drawer for all those little items that normally get deposited on the dash and I will probably ask for a couple of cup holders.

I must get my sketch book out and come up with a design.

-Hi David and Karen

Good idea. Now that you brought that idea up I realized that I had the solution in front of me all along. I have an adjustable Lifetime table that I bought at either Linen and things or Bed bath and beyond, that I use for a computor table and diner table. we have a serving tray we bought along the way. We added some non slip stuff to the bottom of the tray and now we have an adjustable table with the non slip serving tray on top. The sides of the tray keep things in place. Thanx again.

Hi John & Merilee,

Just curious, is 31143 the 42 ft Allure that was on the Guaranty lot in JC last week?

 David.

-Hi David and Karen,

No, ours was brought to the rally by a dealer and the salesman that we do business with dealer traded for it. The coach your talking about was bought by some friends we brought to the rally. Again our salesman traded for it. Much better deal than Guaranty.
