Condensation in bedroom slide walls

We have an 03 Intrigue. When the temp drops to around 34 degrees and colder we get condensation on the slide walls. Especially the corners.
We are in Mich. right now and this morning the corners are wet. We run a dehumidifier, nothing seems to work. Anyone else having this problem? Jan 11552

Jan,

You can help keeep the condensation level down by not closing the day/night shades all the way. Close them to a point just above the the bottom metal rim. Also crack a window in the bath, living room and in the bedroom. It doesn't have to be much, maybe 1/8 inch. I have done this and have eliminated all condensation. The point is, you have to have air movement in the coach and a place for the moisture to go and the only way you will get it is to have windows open.

We never have condensation in our 05 Magna because we always keep the bathroom vent open, summer and winter. We do this by putting a fan cover over the opening and that keeps out the rain and only allows the fan cap to go up a few inches. We also keep our curtains up during the day and go out to dinner several times a week.
These coaches must be vented to keep the body and cooking moisture down, it also helps if you keep the temperature low and use heat sourses that circulate the air. I find that if you use an electric, portable, heater you get more condesation.

I have thought about putting a vent cover over the bathroom fantastic fan. My question is will the electric open stop when it hits the top of the cover and shut off or does it want to open all the way??

The Fantastic fan cover stops as soon as it hits the vent cover. Some people say the fan will burn out sooner because it does not vent as designed but we used a cover on our 01 Mag and it worked fine for 4 years. Having the bathroom always vented works great against condensation and you never have to wait for the fan to open when you need it. When we kept our 01 coach outside this was our only vent, thats why we installed a vent cover in the first place. Then we found out how useful it was.
