Best route to Junction City from Palm Springs in M...

Jan. Have done it several times from San Deigo and will state that 99 might be more interesting than 5. Hwy 1 is much more fun and pretty, and exciting, and slower and narrow than either of the two others but that is the way we are currently going for our appointment at CC next week. In fact we spent a day at Santa Barbara and are currently sitting at Morro Bay going to do some sightseeing tomorrow and then take in the Herst Castle. There just seems to be so much more to see by going up the coast than inland. Our appt is not until the 28th so were just taking our time and smelling the roses all the way up.
