I was told that the gen-set had to be ordered with the option to interface with the Silverleaf. Was I misinformed? Do you have any of the other add-ons for the Silverleaf?

Dick,

Check the last digit in the model # of your generator. If it is F or higher (g,h,i,etc) the Silverleaf generator Node should be able to understand the information sent by the generator. As John stated, it's a fairly simple installation to add gen. control to the Silverleaf, if the generator and generator Node can communicate.
