REF: Odyssey Toads [ also Pilots]

Gene, As I reply to your post, I am reading the owner's manual for my '05 Pilot. Subject, "'Towing your vehicle behind a motorhome: Your vehicle CAN be towed behind a motorhome at legal highway speeds up to 65 mph. Do not exceed 65 mph or severe transmission damage will occur.
To avoid damage to the 4WD system, it MUST be towed with all four wheels on the ground {flat towing}"

The manual goes on to list the towing procedure.
I just got the Pilot so I'm not sure what your ref; to [late 05 ] really means because as you see, the Honda Pilot I just bought on Oct.
30 seems to be Good To Go [OK tow]. I wonder if some sales person had an '06 manual for a '05 unit? My dealer keeps the manuals in a drawer, not in the car, to avoid loosing them.

I don't read anything about the 05 Pilot and I have friend that has towed an 05 all over the country without any problem. I have an early 05 Van and the manual says it can be towed, but the Owners Manual for the late 05 units was apparently changed and the towing page removed. I have not personally seen an updated manual, but I did see the bulletins from Honda stating that for 06 the only car that can be towed four wheels down is the CRV. I am sure Honda will forward the bulletins to anyone that is interested.

Life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.
