The Intrigue 2002 catalogue shows the 36ft Evening Star floor plan, and indicates that it is only available with seating shown.
My wife loves the passenger side J Lounge we now have so I know sometime in the future this will be a "must have" option.

Can the 36ft accommodate a J Lounge as an after market option?

My wife wanted the same thing but CC said no way when we were having it built. We we looking at the new units at Lazy Days in Tampa and saw a 36' with a J Lounge so know it can be done. Good luck Jack and Mary Lou Finnegan

Thanks for the input. It is probably appropriate that I explain our position regarding motor homes.

My wife says we will keep the existing coach a long long long time. Fiscally speaking she is correct.

On the other hand I am always looking ahead to our next coach. Consequently I constantly look at new coaches, noting new items and honing my wish list.

I have a file marked "new coach" and every time something comes along that appeals to me I stick a note in the file and from the information collected will develop my "perfect" coach detail.

I seriously doubt we would achieve 100% but hope we could get close. If we consider a late model used coach we will have a check list so we can clearly identify items not on our list and decide if a compromise is warranted or if we should look elsewhere.

We are not full timers and tend to go out on frequent short trips of less than ten days.

The 36ft length would have some advantages for us due to the shorter wheel base, provided we do not give up too much interior space.

To get a better turning circle on the 40ft length we would need to go to the tag axle version. These are really nice rigs but in addition to the extra cost there is a weight penalty.

But, "things change" so it will be interesting to see what we ultimately decide. Never expected to own a CC but now we do it is hard to imagine owning any other make.
