Allure purchase

"Does anyone have a positive or negative opinion of the 06 Allure? Also Cummins verses Cat?", asks Lars Eppink

This message was accidently sent to the moderator instead of the forum. Your forum moderator is also very interested in the answers. I do know that all new orders at this point are for 2007's, so if anyone knows anything about the future changes too, let us know too.

Also would be interested in knowing of any engine clearance problems with any Allure engine option.

2006 Allures (& Inspires) do not change model year until the summer shows, so currently CC is still accepting orders on 2006 models and will be for a few months I would guess.

Intrigue, Magna, and Affinity models ordered would be 2007's.

Altho' we just purchased our '05 Allure, we looked at the '06's. We liked the change in the awnings...there are separate ones over the windows now which is much nicer. And I think they changed the light switches. I know there were other changes, but I don't think there were a lot of major differences between the '05 and '06 (except price LOL). We picked the 42' '05 because it had nice incentives to move last years products.
This Allure has the 400 Cummins which does fine. I'm sure there will be other folks who will have more of a opinion on engines.
Over all we are very pleased with our new coach that we've had for 2 months. We'll be full timing in it this year, so we are getting it ready!
