lighted entry door handle-bulb!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me who makes the lighted door handle on a Country Coach, I am looking for the lightbulb, it is a real small bulb with a resistor! It is inside the handle at the top! Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Carl

Just a standard light bulb available at most auto parts stores.

Depends on year and coach model. My coach uses a different bulb than that you described. Please sign with year, model and coach number for the benefit of all.

Thanks for telling me about the light from CC for the doorhandle, what year/model coach you have, CC tells me they don't have them in stock! On my coach it is a real tiny bulb with a resistor attachede to it!

Can you shed some light on this?

Yes on my 2000 Allure it also was a standard automotive bulb but on the later models they changed it to a high intensity bulb with a resistor attached!

The newer coaches have a led in the lighted handle. It looks like a little round circuit board with a couple of resistors plus the led mounted on it. You can order one from ITC Inc. Phone# 888.871.8860

Their web site is www.itc-marine.com

They do not have the led assembly listed on the website. I called them to order mine, cost was in the $10 range.

CC Parts Dept. also told me that they did not stock the bulb and that I would have to purchase the entire handle package. That seemed unreasonable so I asked then to double check. When the woman returned after putting me on hold for just a few minutes, she said that she found what I needed and that it would ship the next day. I suggest that you try again. If they do not have it in stock, ask that they order one for you.
