Used my Pressure Pro today....

Installed my Pressure Pro this past week and departed today for the first trip using it. I have to say this is a great tool. I also had my race trailer use them also. Last year I had a trailer flat and really never knew about it and found out because we stopped and I found it upon inspection, otherwise I would have just keep right on going.
I love the immediate measurement of the pressures even when starting from an initial power up before leaving. I compared them against my guage and they were within a few PSI. I did end up needing to put metal valve stems on my trailer tires to accommodate them but that worked out well and the tool they provide to ensure that the value depth is correct is easy.

I also found that even with a trailer, the additional antenna extension was not necessary as i thought it might be. Worked well, though I think there is an intermittent issue with on of the sensors so I will call them and ask for a replacement for that one.

I also noticed that while I started out at 120 PSI cold for my Inspire, after driving for 3.5 hours the pressures were around 135 PSI. I know this depends upon the outside temperatures (road temps) but it was nice to see what they would rise to. I also noticed something that I had suspected with my trialer. My trialer rides a bit higher in front compared to the rear due to the hitch hieght. The pressures showed that the trailer rear tires were running consistently 2 PSI higher than the front two tires which I believe signifies the load is a bit more on the rear than the front tires. I need to make some adjustments on hitch height.

At any rate, this tool really provides a nice piece of mind and the warnings work well, I tested them out. For those of you that tow trailers and cars this is a great tool! Thanks for the information from this group on this tool!

Kary I put my pressure pro on about 2 months ago and I really like it. I've had one small issue in that it won't recognize one of the wheels on the car I'm towing and never has. We just spent a month in Mexico and now that I'm back in Texas I called Dwayne at PP in AZ and he is sending me a replacement sensor which he is sure will cure problem. I love the system and think everybody should have it. Nice to be able to read the pressures in the morning before starting out and occasionally check them while going down the road. They seem extremely accurate to me.
