Carefree Front Door Awning

Yahoo Message Number: 20751
Anyone having any problems getting the Carefree front door awning retracting? Mine is out and will not come back in. There is power going to both inputs on the input side of the switch. When the switch is in the neutral postiion there is power going out of the output side going to the motor. When the switch is pushed to retract the awing there is still power going out on the upper post and the lower output post drops power. IS this correct. Also any suggestion on how to retract this awing. Beaudy in Tucson is almost a 100 miles away. Carefree suggested pushing it in and tying it up. This does not sound like a viable solution to me at least not now. Will be leaving Casa Grande at the end of march. Thanks in advance for any suggetions.

Ed Do you have the Mirage model like our new one. If so I have the owners manual in my hand and it shows a little bit of an electrical diagram and how to crank it back in on the lower left hand side of the awning. If you need a copy of this manual let me know.

Darold, thanks for the kind offer. Unfortunetly mine is Carefree Of Colorado Freedom. Would have been nice if they would have added a manual method for retraction.
