05 Hyundia Asscent..it is a 5 speed manual

Does anyone tow this vehicle and do you like it? It is a 5 speed manual. A friend is looking at one and wonders how it tows.

Your best bet for information on towing any vehicle is to call the manufacturer's customer service office.
If anything they will be a little cautious. The second best source is any of the manufacturers of a comprehensive line of drive-train-interrupt systems I have found that a) they know what vehicles can be safely towed; and b) what, if any, modification is necessary. You wqould be well advised NOT to take the advice of any one else with an opinion. Many offer advice and may mean well: but I purchased a new and expensive tow vehicle on dealer personel assurances that it could be towed "wheels down", only to learn that such an excercise was a certain way to buy (at my expense) a new transmission. One of rving's most prevalant myths is that you can drag any manual transmission without a drive train interrupt---it's pure nonsense. rhwIntrigue
