Mystique ???

Has anyone else heard the rumour that CC dumped the Mystique? Supposedly it didn't sell like they assumed it would.
Went to CC's web page and there is no referance, that I could find, to it any more.

I was told by my dealer that it was pulled from production for quality problems. I did not get the impression that it would reappear. But dealers have been wrong before!

Paul,

Look at CC's website in the "What's New" section regarding the delay in introducing the Mystique due to paint delays at National RV's plant in Perris California (where the Mystique is built). Also, National RV's fourth quarter stock report, dated 2/5/02, talks about backlogs of their own coaches due to over capacity in their paint shops - fact or fiction??

It is a mystery about the Mystique isn't it? Saw 2002 Monaco Executive with three slidesouts and it is a beautiful RV as good looking as the CC Lexa but with a much lower price tag. Maybe there is too much competition now to bring out the Mystique, possibly fewer sales since 9/11. Hard to figure. Buzz and Jim

This is what I understand from Country Coach. The Mystique relationship with National RV was nothing but problems. Quality control was the major issue with the Mystique. The coaches they did have come off line (we have one in Texas) had to be sent back for this reason. Country Coach, in its wisdom, has now severed its relationship with this joint venture. There is no more Mystique. It was a good try by CC to have a more affordable motor home in their line. Better luck next time.
