Would like to hear from anyone using this system, pros and cons. Also, where they had it installed.

Thinking about this system for our Odyssey

Hi,

We were new to RV'ing at the time and so had our US Gear braking system installed in our 2000 Magna at the SF Bay Area dealer where we bought the coach. I got to know their top tech from dealing with other coach problems that came up after taking delivery of the new coach. The dealer then agreed to have the same tech do the US Gear installation. We have been very satisfied with it, even though it was the first US Gear installation this dealer had performed.

The system offers proportional braking, requires two small cable connections when hooking up the tow car, and doesn't intrude the tow car's passenger compartment space. We've driven about 20,000 miles with it, including a lot of mountain driving in the Western states and have had no problems. I've found US Gear's 800 tel support and email communications very good for all of my technical/operational questions and would use their recommendation to locate a service shop if needed.

Later, I US Gear 800 tel. support is very good.
