Has anyone had any experience with these folks? I thought I heard they were a good service facility.

Thanks,

Hi Rosemary.................

We just came from Desert West in Phoenix and it is a great facility to get work done, they are knowledgeable about CC and Prevost. The service managers name is Rick, they are easy to find , have electric hook-ups if you get there on time. Call Rick, make a appointment for Monday and he will give you the code for the gate so you can get in on Sunday! Good luck and Happy Camping......................

I had an electrical problem - (lightning strike close to the coach) - I was on a first name basis before it finally got fixed - I had them change the oil while I was there - they forgot to put the oil cap back on - that led to a problem in Tucson - finding the right oil cap - cost a C note and a day to get the right cap and wash the engine - than when we were leaving my mirror fell off - apparently a trucker had hit it while it was waiting to be serviced - that cost another day so we could get a new mirror -
Rick at Desert West Coach is reasonable and I think they know what they are doing - at least you can usually get in as opposed to other places - they service the high end coaches - my experience with the oil cap might have been a fluke

We had our coach at Desert West just last month for some repairs and it was a mixed bag. They corrected a slide hydraulic leak for about one third the cost that Guarantee said they would need to do the fix, but they charged me $250 to try to figure out what was wrong with my wipers and were not able to come up with a fix. Jack's RV in Tucson was able to figure out the wiper problem and get them fixed. To their credit, Desert west did advise that they would consider an adjustment on the $250 charge if Country Coach didn't come through with some assistance (CC had tried to fix the wipers on multiple occasions and failed each time). The personnel at Desert West were generally good to deal with and I would probably take the coach back there again if I was in Phoenix and needed maintenance. Good Luck:

- Interesting coincidence... one of the things I have to have done there is replace one of my wipers that broke(stripped knarl.)

What was wrong with your wipers?

Thanks,
Rosemary
