Price Discounts on In Stock Country Coach Models

Hello All;

We are getting the itch again. Have looked at the Inspire and Allure coaches which could be in our price range if the discounting to be expected is similar to the discounting available on the Monaco family of similar units.

Can anyone confirm that a new CC can be purchased for about 73% of the "MSRP" price that is sometimes displayed?

There will be no trade-in unit to muddy the water.

In my case it was 26 % off; but, the dealer was buying down the points from
5.3% to 3.99% at the time on my 2004 42' Intrigue. It was factory delivery
and CC paid the sales man I was told. Sales were slow in April of 03 and the weather was warming up in Tucson. This was our second CC, and with 40 some changes, it had to be factory delivery TWI. Oh I'm still changing things!!!!

73% to 75% sure sounds realistic in this market.
We were at 74% in Dec of 04.

All I know is the higher up the line, you should get a bigger discount. One old boy told me that on a Prevost you start at thirty % off. So, Keep at it.

TWI, HI Tom, might be true for Prevost, but not true for Magna and Affinity. The margin for all models is about the same for CC as they are price adjusted already. Why would you think the higher the price the higher the margin? Just curious?

That has been the philosophy of major auto manufactures since the early days. Which, As I faintly remember, the Founder of GM developed. Use the same chassis, retune a suspension, change a few body panels change the trim and paint, add little horse power, throw in an auto matic tranny (Cadillac) and add accessories that you can make a wide margin on. The secret is to have very talented people to keep the low priced derivations in demand, and the high priced version endowed with the exclusivity of new accessories much in demand. Sounds like the M coach company. I have twice priced coaches at one of the M company's Prevosts in the past, and as a CC & 2 Liberty Prevost owners told me, 30+% off, no problem. I didn't believe them either. I just wish our coaches were Duisenberg's in the scheme of things.

Don't place an order without getting a quote from Damon Rapozo at Guaranty RV (800 825-2333) in Junction City. We have purchased our last two CC's through him and have found him to be the most knowledgable and honest sales person in any industry with which we have ever done business. No pressure, just straight forward. NOTE: Damon has been the top seller of Country Coaches during about five of the last seven years. There is a reason for this.
