We went there in December. We had to make the reservations almost a yr in advance. It is very tight but worth going. We were in an old section but Disney did put in some newer sights, I don't know if they are any bigger. We got there earlier and checked-in then went to the holding area. We unhooked the car and toured the sight in the car.
That gave us a good insight on just what we would incounter. I think it would be a big help if Disney would send us a map of the campgrounds with our info packet. They need a bigger and more modern campground but they won't do anything unless we complain.
Also we had a minor problem with the elec. and it was fixed in hrs. My biggest complaint was not being able to check-in until noon losing almost the whole day.

You are lucky to be able to check in at noon. How about the people who were in the campsite who had to leave so that you could check in at noon. They had to leave early. If you went to one of the Disney Hotels, check in is not until 3PM. You were allowed to leave your vehicle in the parking area and go to the parks if you had a park-pass starting the day you arrived. You could have arrived at 8am, left your vehicle in the parking lot and went into the park by 9.
