Has anyone gone Route 260 Famington, CO to Southfork, CO? We're on our way to Creede from AZ and it looks like the best route, a few tunnels and such .
. . Ridiculous mountain passes?

Would apprciate any observations.

I believe you meen hwy 160 from South Fork to Farmington, NM over wolf Creek Pass. There is a small section of the road they were widening that should be finished by now, but it only slowed us up 20 minutes. Going west all you really have to worry about is making sure your in 3rd gear when you rweach the top and starting down hill. If your not sure put on your flashers and stay in second. Its very senic and no problem if you take your time. Going east is more of a challenge. Its a lot safer than Durango to Ouray, where the road can be very very narrow if heading south...
