Leaking Compartments; Intrigue Owners

Yahoo Message Number: 1501
Some how my message was not posted this am. The fiberglass cap on both sides of the coach(the cap that has the "Intrigue" logo)have two seams front and rear. If these seams are not sealed, water will get ino that cap and find its way into one or more compartments. The giveaway is that you get leakage while parked. I took masking tape and went on both sides of the seam, I then used clear GE silicone and pushed it into the the seam; it is slightly noticeable, but no leak.
Above that cap there is bead that covers screws, make sure all the silicone is intact front to back. If there is a break in the silicone, you could have a leak there finding its way into a compartment. If you choose, you could take a hose and run it over those seams before you did anything. I am sure you will find water dripping in. (Periodically check your seal job) I also masked off my refrig vent and hot water heater compartments, I then applied beige silicone to reseal.
