Here are some more details on the solar panel not doing much work for us.

The solar panel is 15-watt with solar charge controller. House batteries and inverter are turned off.

15 watts is a trickle charger for battery maintenance while in storage and not to be expected to provide any useful service. 75 Watts is a minimum and two 75 watt panels really useful for charging batteries being drawn down by living usage.

15 Watts is a hair over 1 amp of 12V DC current. I do not know about the Allure, but my Tribute draws 3 amps from the house battery with the house battery disconnected using the disconnect switch in the coach. Since my storage spot has no shore power available, I have added manual disconnects on the ground side of the house and chassis batteries at the suggestion of CC tech support.
In your case, I would think that a 75 watt to 100 watt panel would be more in line with your needs. I plan to install 2, 100 watt panels in the future on our roof.

Your are correct one 100 watt solar panel will give you in full sun light almost 6 amps. You can count on 5. I am in CA and the 100 watt has kept my AGM's in good shape all winter. AM Solar Eugene Or.
