Hi Folks,

On my Cummins 8.3 liter there is a wingnut valve also on the engine block (like the one at the rear side of the radiator) to the rear of the oil filter that drains the engine block. To be sure that all coolant is drained, the thermostat housing should be removed along with the thermostat. Measure all that is drained to determine system capacity. A 50-50 mix of Cummins Compleat with distilled water for refill after the flush with baking soda mix procedure. Get acquainted with procedures 1.9.3, 1.9.4 and 1.9.5 which I believe are out of date and msg 30312 has added details along with this message.

Hey Fred, I've got a 99 Allure with the 330hp. How did you obtain the flash to 350hp? Definitely something I'd like to do. Thanks in advance! Paul

Unless you have the upgraded 3000 world transmission changing from a 330 to a 350 rating with 200 more ft lbs of torque is not a good idea for the transmission. TWI 98 Allure 30255 with ISC 330, now 2004 Intrigue 11731
