I would like to pass on something that happened to us this past Memorial Day.
We were cruising down I 95 when someone passed us and pointed to the back of the coach. When we stopped we had fuel pouring out the last side compartment.
We had blown the "O" ring on the secondary fuel filter. Well we carry spare filters so we were back on the road in 10 minutes. What a mess! Had to stop and wash the Jeep but it could have been worse. I never realized why I carried spare filters but now I know. On some of the Cat engines the filter housing leaves part of the filter "O" ring exposed, so check this ring from time to time. Some of the Cat filter housing cover this ring but Cat could not tell me why there are 2 types of housings. So carry spare filters, you may need them someday.
