Need advise on ABS warning light with Tag axel up ???

Yahoo Message Number: 40029
Were new CC owners. I read the book about the light coming on with the tag up. How do I reset it or turn it off?

Hi Mike, I have experienced that a couple of times on my coach. The first time I called CC and they didn't have a clue, it was the first they heard of it. I found that once the tag was lowered and rolled a few hundred feet, the light reset itself. So the next time it did it I didn't pay much attention to it.

CC will always tell you they have never heard of any type of problem you may have. That way they don't have to admit that there are several coaches with the same problem. I agree with Earl that it usually somehow resets itself. However I have had to have it fixed at the factory. The sevice man told me it happens all the time and he hits something with a rubber mallet.

We have had the same problem and it is a sensor on the tag wheel that is not calibrated correctly. There is a trick to reset the error code so that it goes away.. I will look it up and let you know.
It us caused (or we have been told by CC tech) by turning too tight with the tag down.

Had the same problem when mine was new, I found that if I turned off the motor and restarted afer the tag was down the light went off.

Somehow it fixed itself sometime after that.

Hi, we have an 07 Allure - we have an ABS light switch in the hydraulics bay that we had to reset. We had the same problem when we first got the coach - so we were told to flip the switch; that took care of the problem. Since then we haven't had to do it but at least we know we can take care of it ourselves.

Hope this helps. Dee
