Front AC Compressor runs even with thermostat off.

Yahoo Message Number: 40030
Hello folks

Just got back from a trouble-free 4300 mile trip and noticed some humming in the front house AC after we parked. It worked great the whole trip. Turned off the thermostat and it sill hummed. Shut off circuit breaker and it stopped. Went on top and removed cover, flipped circuit breaker back on and noticed that the compressor was running (or trying to). A few months ago I replaced the start and run capacitors because of a similar problem. Could it be that these (or one of them) start/run capacitors are bad again? It is a Dometic AC.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

This is not much of an answer but I've had the same problem and simply solved it by replacing the entire unit. I've found that with a lot of use you will only get about 7 years out of one. I did the breaker on/off for awhile until I got tired of doing that.
