coach security alarm systems

Anyone with good or bad experience with security alarm systems for their coach? Are they effective or just a pain?

FYI: We had an interesting experience to share. We were coming to a truck stop we planned to stop for the night. My fuel was getting low but not yet critical, no messages from The Voice.
We pulled in and filled with 98 gal (tank of 110). Pulled to the side area and tried to start the Generator and it stalled repeatedly. My wife pulled out the manual and reviewed the trouble messages. She noted that the fuel line for the Gen comes off higher than the low point of the fuel tank. The manual then instructed on how to hold down on the off portion of the Gen switch for one minute to pump the fuel into the Gen after going on empty. We did that and the Gen started right up and function all night without problems.

FYI: Another point, I am working on a cycling rear heat pump. Its going on and off repeatedly sometimes in less than one minute.
Gary from Dometics is helping walk me through some testing of the board, temperature sensor and the compressor. Most recently we discovered that the rear unit on AC trips the generator relay. The front does not. I have VM into Gary at Dometics.
